Vidblaín Balvás

Vidblaín is graduated from Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica CCC in Mexico City, where he also teaches cinematography since 2014. His work as DP for films has been part of some of the most important film festivals in the globe (EL Deseo, Festival de Cannes 2008 official selection. Busco Empleo, Semaine de la critique 2010. Mi Universo en Minúsculas, winner for Best Film at GIFF 2012 and Best cinematography at Pantalla de Cristal award 2012). He is also cinematographer for documentaries (including Guillemo del Toro's production "Ayotzinapa, el paso de la tortuga"), music videos and TV commercials. For TV series, he's been DP for HBO, NETFLIX among other production companies.
