Joe Sobalo Jr.

Joe was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts to his mother Linda Ricci, a retired nurse from Somerville, and his father Joseph Sobalo, a carpenter and painter from East Boston. The family later moved to the suburb of Billerica, Massachusetts, where they settled and Joe grew up. After graduating high school, Joe went to college not knowing what he wanted to do for a living. As an elective he took a theater class in college, performed a scene from "Death of a Salesman" in front of his classmates, fell in love with the craft of acting, earned his theatrical degree, and so began his Journey. Joe just filmed a role as Jonathan in "For All Mankind" (Apple Tv/Sony) and also just released, you can watch him in "Lucifer" Season 5, episode 4 as Vincenzo. Premiering soon on a theatrical release is the film "Ava," directed by Tate Taylor ("The Help"). Joe had the role of Alejandro acting alongside Colin Farrell and John Malkovich. John and Colin are two incredibly professional, kind, and down to earth people who went out of their way to welcome me to set. Before that Joe had a role in the feature film, "Lasso," which was released on 11/14/2018. He played Paul, an animal activist. In another recent project, Joe was able to honor his late Grandfather Domenic Ricci, a military veteran of World War II. Joe portrayed the role of Private Cooper in "Medal of Honor," Episode 4. "Medal of Honor"(Netflix) Joe is a talented athlete who has been an athlete his entire life growing up a martial artist and running track. After that running marathons, Teaching Krav Maga, and studied Kung Fu, and Kenpo. Then, after a few years of diverse stunt training, Joe became an accomplished stuntman to add some awesome skills to his extensive theatrical background. Joe enjoys songwriting and co-producing upbeat fun inspiring music, loves all types of animals, creating character(s) and humorous voices, motivating others, traveling, star gazing, making fun videos, laughing, directing projects, and contributing in making the earth a paradise for all.
