Peter Charles Matthews

Born in Zimbabwe 1955. Moved to South Africa to study graphic design and worked as Creative Director for several multi national ad agencies. Founding partner and Executive Creative Director of Matthews & Charter, Ogilvy Advertising - Achievements: Rated in the top three most creative agencies in South Africa by Financial Mail. Awarded South African 'Agency of the Year' by Readers Digest. Advertising Awards include Cannes, London International and New York Founder and 25% shareholder - Ogilvy Interactive Pty (Ltd) Internet Publishing. Founder and 30% shareholder - Orange Juice Design Pty (Ltd) 2000 - sold his shares in these three companies to Ogilvy and embarked on directing career - produced and directed many commercials for Multinational Brands including: Barclays, Volvo, Bata, Unilever, Marriott, Beiersdorf and Yamaha - winning multiple international awards including Cannes Lions. Directed and Produced 'Oil on Water' - Psychological Drama Feature Film AWARDS: Best Feature Film - Everglades International Film Festival Finalist and Official selection in 9 other International Film Festivals Directed and Produced 'Township Yogi' - Feature Documentary . Also Produced and Narrated by Blair Underwood.
