Attended Arizona, where he made 30-of-47 field goals, with a long of 53 yards. He also went 79-of-81 on extra points. Earned first-team All-Pac 10 honors in 2006, following his senior season. Majored in marketing. Attended Notre Dame High School (Sherman Oaks, California), where he was named to the All-California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section second team kicker and first-team punter.
