Born in the American Mid-West, Tom Farnan is a comedian and character actor who performs in a variety of commercials.
He has a strong theater and improv background with an Acting degree from Columbia College, in Chicago (1997), including being a cast member at ComedySportz, The Second City, ImprovOlympic, Annoyance Theater and The Steppenwolf Theater's adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's 'Slaughterhouse-Five'(1997), Directed by Academy Award Winner, Eric Simonson.
Early film appearances include performing in 48 Hour Film projects most notably, "Breakin' Bread", a Mockumentary about the Last Supper, featuring Tom as the Apostle Matthew (2005). This project was featured at The Cannes Film Festival, in recognition of The Global 48 Film Project (2008).
As a commercial actor, Tom has appeared in spots for Miller Genuine Draft, IHOP, Men's Wearhouse, Tillamook, Bosch, Orbit Gum, Home Advisor among others. He maintains a longstanding relationship with The Reign Agency.
