Vijay Sekhon

Vijayendra was born in 1977 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He has a Masters in Fine Arts from M.S.Univerysity, Baroda and a second Masters in Interactive Telecommunications from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University. His process of learning is wide and focused on understanding of oneself, our relationship with one another and the cosmos. He employs various techniques in this process such as by not limited to drawing, painting, performance, site-specific installation, writing and film making. He has been involved in feature films, documentaries and participated in group shows and artist residencies in the US, South Korea and India. Post his Masters from NYU, Vijayendra worked with Merchant Ivory Productions as an assistant editor, cameraman and producer.
