James Toland

James took to acting naturally and studied at Jeremy Piven's parents acting studio, Piven Theater Workshop. James later attended the famous Chicago Academy of the Arts high school, graduating in 1987. James continued his training at the prestigious SUNY Purchase professional theater conservatory. His Stepmother's Parents, Ronald Colman and George Sanders, Oscars serve as bookends on James' Dad's fireplace. After a few years of working as an actor and playwright in New York City, James turned his sites on a career as a Chef and trained with some of Europe's and America's top toques. Since 1994, James has enjoyed an award winning career as a chef, restaurateur and hospitality consultant before cashing it all in for independent film producing in 2006.
