Rik Burns

Born in Virginia Beach, Va, young Ricky started wandering early as he spent his childhood in the small mountain towns of Mt. Shasta, CA and Ashland, OR. His American Father's work in theater management, video production, and advertising, and his French Mother's background and education in visual arts inspired and nourished his creativity. Eventually ending up in New York City, Rik became an adult and pursued his dream of becoming a filmmaker by earning his BA in Film Production from CUNY Brooklyn College. Rik's early work in the Industry started as a PA on many short films and on shows such as MTV's Making The Band (seasons 4 & 4.2). Trying his hand at many roles throughout production, he has worked in television, commercials, music videos, web media, corporate media, and independent shorts and features. Rik now embarks on a new adventure as creator, producer and host of Green Machine TV.
