Molly Hill

Molly Hill is an aspiring cinematographer and colorist currently attending the Rochester Institute of Technology for a dual degree in Film and Animation (BFA) and Motion Picture Science (BS), the latter of which incorporates physics and programming. Hailing from the backwoods of Connecticut, Molly's split interest in science and art comes from her parents- one, a photographer and retoucher, and the other a mechanical engineer and project manager. She began experimenting with video when she received her first video camera (Vado) and turned the lens on friends, family, and pets. Her interest grew in high school, but it was a tough choice to choose film school over her growing love of physics. RIT provided the perfect compromise. Since attending, Molly has been active in the student film community, and has even worked on professional TV and film sets. She is currently producing Ben Stutzman's thesis, "Clairvoyant," while interning for SMPTE and Fencing in the Schools.
