Scott Ackerlund

Scott was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up the middle of five brothers. His interest in the entertainment industry began when he was twelve years old acting in local musicals and school plays. However, his real love for film came when he was a freshman in high school being cast as a supporting lead in a feature film being shot around his town. After continuing acting for almost a decade, Scott moved to California and earned a bachelor's degree in digital filmmaking from the Art Institute of Los Angeles in Santa Monica. Since then he has written and directed many short films, music videos, and commercials and has been a part of several projects within the Los Angeles and Chicago film industries. On and off set, Scott has had major roles in every phase of production from being a production assistant, key grip, camera operator, producer, director, actor, editor, and colorist.
