Biography

Ashton Swinford a SAG-AFTRA Actor, and the Executive Producer of Paragram Productions, in addition to an award-winning Screenwriter, Producer, and Director. As a former Producer for The Onion, she worked with a small team to produce all 30 episodes of "The A.V. Club Hosted by John Teti", a celebrity talk show for Fusion, now on Amazon Prime. A New York native and graduate of The Stella Adler Studio NY, her career brought her to Los Angeles, where she began writing and producing her own comedy projects in addition to performing stand up and musical comedy alongside artists like Bob Zmuda in The Comedy Store musical revue "The Tony Clifton Show". She has also performed with artist Marina Abramovic for MOCA in Los Angeles, in addition to her work on camera in FOX's New Girl, Chicago P.D., and indie films like Unleashed, and The Grandma on Amazon Prime. Her recent work includes Directing, Producing, and co-writing, two short films "Red Flag" and "Basic Witches", the former of which premiered at the Midwest Film Festival. She is also the Creator, Producer and co-writer of the Media Literacy series "Miss Information" which was produced by Definitely Real as part of the world's first Alternate Reality Cinema project "Dared My Best Friend". Additionally "Miss Information" was featured by the United Nations for International Media Literacy week.
