Sarah Shahinian

Sarah was born and raised in New Jersey and graduated with a BFA in Drama from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. She then spent a year and a half touring the United States as "Ado Annie" in the original cast of Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed revival of OKLAHOMA! Since then, she has continually worked in regional theaters across the country, and most recently toured the United States once again in the original cast of the 25th Anniversary Production of LES MISERABLES. Currently, Sarah serves as the Associate Artistic Director of The Active Theater in New York City, and has directed numerous production of Dorothy Marcic's RESPECT: A Musical Journey of Women. She continues to work as a theater director, primarily focusing in the development of new plays.
