Jordan lives in Redwood Shores, California, located in the San Francisco Bay Area and also has a residence in Los Angeles. Understanding the importance of getting a good education, she has been challenging herself academically to prepare for a successful career.
Ever since she can remember, she has wanted to be on television as a host and broadcast journalist. Eco-Company, the international television series she currently co-hosts and has co-hosted for the last five years filming over 60 segments has allowed that dream to become a reality. The show airs Saturdays at 1:30PM on Fox TV in the Bay Area. Those in other cities can check on the website: www.eco-company.tv to find a station and time near you. Season Five will premier in September 2013 and the show has been renewed through 2017. 2011 and 2012 were highlights for her as she traveled to the Channel Islands for a week and filmed some amazing footage and was one of two hosts that had the opportunity to go out-of-state to Connecticut to film several episodes for Season Three.
Over the last year, she has had many opportunities to continue working in the entertainment industry. These experiences added to her knowledge and she enjoyed them all. Some examples: Host for VSP, eHealth, ION Sports, IDTV and Just Colleges; Print Model for product marketing, print publication and the web: PurThread Technologies Inc., Canon, Matchbox, Klutz, San Francisco Unified School District, Elle, Dumb Clothing, Basic Blouse, Panhandle Productions, McGraw Hill, O'Bon School Supplies, HTC, The Baseball Dress and Commercials for American Cancer Society, Nike, Android, Credit Karma and BlueJeans Network.
Some previous projects include: Co-lead in television pilot, Becoming A Jones; filmed several Public Service Announcements, and participated in three episodes of Adina's Deck (targeting technology issues that teens are dealing with today), played the role of Portia Washington in New Image Productions Documentary about Booker T. Washington. Her experience in film started at a young age when she was an extra in Sony Pictures' Pursuit of Happyness and New Line Cinema's Four Christmases. Other photo shoots include being featured in Enterteenment Online, Chrisad, Zazzle, Cover Model for Supermodels Unlimited, My PicsPro and the San Mateo County Times.
Jordan's current passion is pop culture and thoroughly enjoys film, music, technology, fashion, social issues, and teen focus literature. She has been fortunate enough to be invited to and attend several awards shows including The Nick Kids Choice Awards, The Teen Choice Awards, The Grammy awards, as well as the 20th Annual EMA Awards as a Host on the nominated Eco Company show. They were nominated as one of three shows in the category of Children's Live Action Drama with a Disney and Nickelodeon show rounding out the three.
Two major interests of Jordan's include pageantry and community service. She received a national award from National American Miss for completing over 1500 hours in three years for "my continued commitment to my community, my country and my world." She loved competing in pageants and has held state titles since the age of 9 when she first began competing. Her latest title was Miss National American Miss California Teen 2011. She credits pageantry for giving her the confidence and poise to pursue her dreams as well as introducing her to the importance of volunteering for causes for which she has developed a passion. Currently, she is focusing her volunteer efforts with Inconvenient Youth, the American Cancer Society, No Bully and a variety of health related causes.
In addition to the above, she is enthusiastic about more personal undertakings like kickboxing, biking, running, dancing, skiing, traveling, cooking, choreography, photography, movie making, graphic design and hanging out with her family, friends and her dog London.
She has big dreams and is working hard towards defining her life's goals that will lead to a happy and productive life. She is determined and willing to do everything and anything it takes to make her dreams come true.
She lives by the quote: "Every accomplishment begins with the decision to try" and as a result, she is not afraid to try anything that she thinks can help her to better herself and her future, the planet and others around her.
