Anita Pacheco

Anita was born in Quito-Ecuador. Her father, Jaime, is successful Lounge vocalist and guitar player. Her mother, Beatriz, was a seamstress-pattern designer for a Beverly Hills boutique. Anita is the oldest of four siblings. Her brother, Vladimir, a Gymnastic Instructor, passed away at 21, her younger sister, Ely, got her BA in Psychology, a Healthy Living Program Manager at Tarzana Treatment Center. Her third sister, Maria, a Bookkeeper is a happily marry homemaker in South Carolina. Anita's parents were born in Ecuador, and came to America in 1968. Her mother's parents were Chilean, Columbian and Europeans who settled in Ecuador. She says that it was her parents' work ethic that made a difference in her life. Anita took dancing lessons from age 11 and modeling at 17. She attended 8 years of Catholic school, including an all-girl high school. She was in a few plays in high school and was a jazz dancer, her dream was to become a dancer and a model, her high school sweetheart Ray's father a famous producer got her a job in Las Vegas as a dancer, but her mother did not allow her to pursue show business. Right after high school, she briefly worked as a model. During this time, she continued dance competitions at night. At 18, she went to college to study Criminal Justice. She got married at the age of 20 and had two beautiful daughters, Marlene, a Social Worker and Genevieve, studying to be a Director of Cinematography. Anita's career took off at a later stage of her life; she reached acting in the movie scene "Carts". During that time Pacheco worked and volunteered for nonprofit organizations (1997). Assistant to President of Unidas, as a board member she arranged promotional events to raise funds for children's scholarship. Anita coordinated community events for charity, secured and garnered sponsorships from nonprofit organizations. Her big break was at a boutique PR firm while she took courses in College to follow her degree in PR, then she was offered a job as a Publicist for a major PR firm in Los Angeles. It has been said, it is not what you know, but rather who you know, however, in the case of Anita Pacheco, and it's how effective you are at bringing those two elements together in a creative and strategic way. Charming and personable Anita has worked in some facet of PR/Marketing for over 3 years. While working with Unidas, Maria Pascher, the President of Marketing and Promotions in Marina Del Rey, a great mentor for Pacheco to become a skilled event planner, but also made her realize this was her niche. Anita created a new boutique PR agency and brought special skills and unique abilities to her new business with the how of successful public relations marketing branding and consulting services (2006).
