Djaka Souaré

From West African & French descent, Djaka Souaré is an actress who started her career in theater at a young age before transitioning to Film & TV. She recently starred in HULU's Episode of "Black Stories Present: Imagine a Moon Colony", directed by Phillip Youmans, TriBeCa 2019 Award winner, and in "Nairobi", produced by Solange Knowles. Djaka is also a director; her short film "Jazz in Wakanda", was an official selection at Film Festivals like Urban World, Nitehawk shorts & NewFilmmakers Los Angeles.
