Carlos Quintela

Cuban Filmmaker who graduated from the E.I.C.T.V and F.A.M.C.A He has made experimental shorts until the feature debut La Piscina, which earned him several awards at International Film Festivals. His narrative style is influenced by Asian and European Art house cinema. His starting point in film are traced back to 1997 when he was cast as a child in Miguel Coyula's early short Válvula de luz (1997).
