Biography

Jeremy Ray Smolik is a director and editor based in Los Angeles. In the past 2 years, he has completed over 70 projects, creating content for dozens of clients including Disney, Warner Bros, Sony, P&G, Apple, Beats, Hearst, Conde Nast, and Universal Music Group. Most notably, he took Ars Technica's "War Stories" series in a new direction, set records for the brand, and the series was nominated for its first Webby. He is currently developing multiple projects while turning out original content for GQ, Wired, Vanity Fair, Glamour, Ars Technica, Vogue, Allure, and Architectural Digest. The latest short film he directed, "Somewhere East", will be submitted to festivals early 2021. Jeremy is also in development on his feature directorial debut inspired by his experimental short film "Broken Letters". (Updated November 2020)
