Initially pursuing careers in the noble fields of magic, special effects, tap dancing, and violin playing, Beau Leland eventually settled on the lucrative world of film and video. Beau is interested in-above all else-contributing to the cultural and economic development of Oklahoma's Film and Music community, and has been involved in the film and video business since 2001. He studied Film and Video Studies at the University of Oklahoma as well as Film and Video Production at Oklahoma City Community College. Beau now works as an independent video producer and editor in Oklahoma City, and has produced, shot and edited various documentaries, commercials, and music videos. In 2008 Beau's first feature film in which he co-directed and edited, "Rainbow Around the Sun," premiered at South By Southwest film festival, and was chosen as Best Oklahoma Feature at deadCENTER Film Festival the same year.
