Peter Chen

Peter Chen was staff writer on Season 1 of GREMLINS for HBO Max / Warner Brothers Animation / Amblin Entertainment. Chen previously wrote/sold the feature script UNTITLED KARATE PROJECT to Universal Pictures with David O. Russell (AMERICAN HUSTLE, SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK) attached as a producer. He later co-wrote the feature script CORPORATE SAMURAI with David O. Russell. Chen was staff writer on Season 1 of THE RESIDENT for Fox, where he was brought in to provide a comedic voice to the show. He was the writer's assistant on Season 1 of the Showtime series I'M DYING UP HERE. Prior to that, Chen was also assistant to showrunner Chip Johannessen on Season 5 of the Showtime series DEXTER, and made an uncredited cameo on the show as "Ponytail Man". He stands by his performance as Ponytail Man, despite the harsh and critical reviews.
