Troy is a Reality TV Producer, Director & Cinematographer based in Los Angeles CA. During 16 years working in Television he has worked with some of the biggest production companies in the business like Next Entertainment, Original Media, Endemol Shine, 44 Blue Productions, and September Films, just to name a few. As a Producer, one of the first episodes he produced for the TV series Split Ends on Style was nominated for an Emmy Award. Some of the other shows he has produced include: Swamp People & Ice Road Truckers for History Channel, Shipping Wars-A&E, Bridezillas-WE, and Emmy Award winning Made-MTV. As a cinematographer, Troy has worked in the camera department on many shows such as, The Bachelor & The Bachelorette-ABC, Fear Factor & Emmy Awarding winning Starting Over-NBC, The Keyshia Cole Project-BET and Americas Next Top Model-UPN. He has also shot and produced numerous documentaries, short films and development projects.
Troy Graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Journalism and Media in 2000 and began his TV career at news channel 11 WTVD- in Raleigh-Durham, NC. As a student, he helped launch the inaugural season of Carolina Week; multiple award winning and distinguished student news broadcast, and was involved in developing programming for student television. After Graduating, Troy created and produced Random Insanity, a local cable TV show in Chapel Hill. For the show he created a character Meterman, and was featured on CBS News Los Angeles, Fox News Cincinnati, ABC News Raleigh-Durham, as well as, numerous front-page news articles and even a national article in SPIN Magazine.
Troy continues to work with some of the biggest names in the business and is always on the cutting edge creating and developing new shows and concepts for reality TV and documentary films.
