Alexandru made his film debut with a part in Gunpowder, Treason & Plot (2004) (TV) directed by Gillies MacKinnon a BBC miniseries based upon the lives of Mary, Queen of Scots, and her son James I of England.
In 2014 he received his BA in acting with the final production of "The Competition" (at the Comedy Theatre), a play written by the Russian contemporary playwright Aleksandr Galin, receiving the student theatre award for best performance by a featured actor in a play.
Besides acting, Alexandru is known as well for his prolific work as a performance artist, writer and director.
He was born in Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
