Luise Brinkmann

Luise Brinkmann is a director and writer, known for Beat Beat Heart (2016), Kalt Küssen (2014) and Nebenan (2010) etc. After also working mainly in the editorial department on various high budget movies in Germany, she graduated film school as a director in 2016 with her feature Beat Beat Heart. The film premiered at the 34st Filmfest Munich 2016, the most important German film festival after the Berlinale. It was shown as part of the 'New German Cinema' competition and was finally awarded a 'Special Price' for ensemble-spirit and energy. Some of Luise Brinkmann's other movies were also successfully screened on film festivals worldwide and later published on DVD and as Video on Demand.
