Joel Fleming was born in 1981 in Frankston, Victoria, Australia. He currently lives in Melbourne. Joel has worked on various radio stations since 1998. Most notably, he formed one half of the "Slapnuts" radio program on 91.5 City FM in Melbourne before the 91.5 frequency became Vega FM. The "Slapnuts" were staples in the 7-10pm weeknight slot, afterwards moving to the 4-7pm Drive Time position. In 2000, Joel graduated from the Wiliam Bates Academy of Performing Arts in Melbourne. Around this time Joel began performing stand-up comedy at Melbourne venues. Joel has had success on various TV shows. This includes the early bird Show where he made his television debut in 1987. In 2002 Joel was a carry over champion on the Nine Networks "Pass the Buck". In 2007 was paired with Michael Cabretti on the debut episode of Channel Seven's hit show "The Rich List". Joel and Michael made their way through 3 episodes of the show, finishing with total winnings of $400,000. Joel studied Business (Economics) at Swinburne University. In 2007 Joel appeared in a finance segment on Channel Seven's Sunrise program. In 2009 Joel starred in Brock Cullen's Tropfest film "Thin Ice". In 2010 Joel played a role in Liam Firmager's film "Ricky The Movie". Joel "2012" continues to perform Stand-Up Comedy.
