Biography

Andy Deliana studied Cinema at University of Montreal after working in a variety of commercials and feature films. Early 2000, he worked as a cameraman and then as a film director, for several shorts and videos, showing a preference for Analog over Digital. His feature directorial debut, "Out of Touch" (2009), was a SEE Cinema Network grant winner and a first collaboration between American, Macedonian and Albanian productions. "Out of touch" was, also, the first Neo Noir/Thriller, ever made in South East Europe. His career as a writer and director continued in various collaborations for series on TV, like "After the 90s", "Film Prologue" and in the feature film, "Ada", where he co-wrote early versions of the script, latter to be directed by Jamie Donoughue. The critically acclaimed "The Perfect Gangster", helped to his international breakthrough. As a producer, Andy Deliana, is known, for "Amok", "Covenant", "The Perfect Gangster" and "Back to Q82" (SciFi comedy, in Arabic language), in addition to his previous television experiences like "180 Degree" TV Show, "Big Brother" Reality (franchise), "After the 90s" series and various appearances, as a moderator. Andy Deliana is based in New York city where he also teaches filmmaking, in a known American film school.
