Biography

Scott Pessoni is an Emmy Award-winning cinematographer based in Nashville, Tennessee. He is co-owner/president of Gemini Production Group, which has won three Emmy Awards and six Telly Awards. Also a producer, editor and director, Pessoni served as cinematographer on such diverse projects as "Iron City Blues" (Best Documentary, Appalachian Film Festival, 2007), "Plant A Tree In Tennessee" (PSA for Tennessee State Parks, 2011), and the award-winning short films "My Name Is Wallace" (2006), "Leto" (2008) and "The New, True, Charlie Wu" (2009). In 2013 he co-directed and co-produced "Autumn Lovers" and "Wildcat from Outer Space"; both films premiered at the ArtLightenment Film Festival in Nashville where "Autumn Lovers" earned second place in the People's Choice Awards. He is a native of Newtown, Connecticut.
