Bettiena Bekkema

Although she has a Dutch nationality, Bettiena Bekkema was born on November 25th 1986, in Bremen, Germany. She has an older twin sister, Janneke. At age four and a half, her family moved back to the Netherlands. On June 29th 2007 she finished her school and got her diplomas for camera and editing. Her internships included working on set of 'Dankert & Dankert' (season 2) and the movie 'De Scheepsjongens van Bontekoe'. She started a company with her sister (Twins Media&Design) in February 2007. After the sisters went their own way the company closed its doors in 2016. They worked on several movies and series during this time. Bettiena now works for a Dutch television network as an editor.
