Paul Johnson started his acting career at the age of 14 landing a role in the made for TV film "Teammates". His character the "Professor" provided light comedy relief for a film dedicated for AIDS/HIV awareness. Throughout his high school years he was the leading man in theatre productions every year obtaining major character roles. His acting versatility allowed him to take on roles from a police officer to an abusive boyfriend. In his senior year of high school Paul was the host of a radio show on CHRY 105.5fm "Elektrafied" which aired every Friday morning from 7-10am. The show featured hip hop and R&B music, student wake up calls and live interviews. It was through this experience where he honed in on his skills as a voice over actor and radio announcer. In college he joined the multicultural club at George Brown College which opened up opportunities for him to host large scale talent and fashion shows across Toronto. It was also through this where he portrayed Martin Luther King Jr. in their annual black history month showcase which featured major Toronto talents such as S. Davis and Melanie Fiona. Paul Johnson's hosting skills landed him a job on one of the longest running game shows in Canadian television history "Video & Arcade Top Ten". His skills as a Child & Youth Worker really shined on set as his charisma kept the 30-40 kids in the studio audience engaged and excited. Throughout his career, Paul Johnson has taken on roles that have challenged him as an actor and entertainer. He is currently doing work with the school board as a Child & Youth Worker helping younger students develop their craft in the industry as well as learning more himself. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, playing video games and watching TV and movies.
