Christopher Holmes

Christopher Holmes is a recent recipient of the North Carolina Arts Council's coveted $10,000 Artist Fellowship Award (2010-2011), former recipients of which include Ramin Bahrani, Brett Ingram, and Joshua Gibson. He has also served in the past as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Broadcasting and Cinema at UNC-Greensboro. His work has been featured in a wide range of festivals throughout the world, including the Milano Film Festival in Italy, Slamdance Film Festival, Cinequest, the Wisconsin Film Festival, the San Francisco Independent Film Festival, IFF Boston and dozens more. His films have also been featured several times on PBS programs in both North and South Carolina. Currently recovering from career-threatening "Tommy John" elbow surgery, Christopher hopes to one day pitch again in the major leagues.
