Nikos Avagianos

Biography

Nikos Avagianos is an actor, dancer, performer, entertainer, and presenter. He danced in nearly all of Giannis Dalianidis' musicals in the theatre and the movies. He collaborated with Ellie Lambeti on Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard (1999). Even though he had never thought he would become a singer, Nikos Avagianos studied music under the guidance of an excellent teacher recommended by Dimitra Galani to improve his musical skills. In 1974, he started making a name for himself as a lead performer and met the popular singer, Pitsa Papadopoulou. Then, he worked with singer and actress, Vicky Mosholiou, and the beloved Greek folk singer and songwriter, Grigoris Bithikotsis. He is known for Mermaids and Rascals (1968), Marijuana Stop! (1971), The Dodger (1971), A Greek Woman in the Harem (1971), To koroidaki tis prigipessas (1972), The Tough Guy with the Tricycle (1972), and Captives of Hate (1972).
