Asona Lui

Asona was born in Topeka, Kansas and attended Topeka Collegiate School pre-K through 8th grade. She then attended Lake Forest Academy in Lake Forest, Illinois (2001-2005). In the summer of 2006 she filmed Through Martha's Eyes as a freshman in college. TME was picked up the PBS national server in January 2008. Since that time she has focused on her studies and preparing for applications to medical school. Asona will graduate from Washingon University in St Louis in May 2009 with a degree in African and African-American Studies.
