Collin Insley

Collin Insley is a filmmaker from Orange County, California. He studied at Brooks Institute of Photography, where he earned a BA in Film and Video Production in 2008. He has directed five short films since 2005, including "King of the Cardboard People" (an Official Selection at the 2008 Ohio Independent Film Festival), "December 21, 2012" (an Official Selection at the 2010 Eat My Shorts Film Festival), "Delivery" and "Another One Of My Wild & Crazy, Impressively Explosive Ideas!" Collin also wrote the screenplay for the award winning short film, "Metal Detector Man" (Winner: Best Film, 2008 Santa Barbara International Film Festival 10-10-10 Competition). As of 2011 he is directing commercials and corporate videos for 5019 Productions in Newport Beach, CA and is in the process of developing several short and feature-length projects.
