Akil Kurji

At the young age of 16 Akil Kurji knew he wanted to become a film producer. Through his ambitions and diligent endeavors formed Gennex Films He has studied film at the University of Miami majoring in Political Science and Motion Pictures. He made his first feature film at the age of 19 titled "Aaj Kal" and has continued to engage in new and exciting projects of which include Tremens (2009) and the first ever Bollywood Spoof film titled Desi Movie (2013). He resides in Mumbai, India and continues to develop various projects mainly concentrating on cross culture films releasing in the near future while directing and producing music videos and commercials.
