James Mark began his career in film as a professional stuntman and fight choreographer having come from a professional background in both martial arts and gymnastics. While working on titles such as Jumper, Pacific Rim and Scott Pilgrim VS the World, James' interests behind the camera began to grow. In 2010, he transitioned to the world of directing after releasing a number of digital shorts through the online platform IGN where each video received millions of unique views (Jedi Ninjas, The Ultimate Fan Fight franchise).
In 2016 James directed his first feature film Kill Order, a martial arts action film which was distributed by RLJE. This was followed by the action-drama titled On The Ropes, released in limited U.S. theaters on July 3rd, 2018 by Screen Media. Most recently James directed the feature film titled "Enhanced" starring George Tchortov, Alanna Bale, Chris Mark, and 19-2's Adrian Holmes.
