Evin Ahmad

Evin Ahmad is a Swedish and Kurdish actress and writer. She plays the main role of Kira in the second and third seasons of The Rain. However, she is credited as a recurring character in the first season. Evin Ahmad was born on June 8th, 1990, in Stockholm, Sweden. She comes from Kurdish decent, her father is an actor from Sulaimani, Iraqi Kurdistan and her mother is from Efrin, Syria. She grew up in her hometown of Akalla, Stockholm, until she reached the age of 22. Growing up she was very interested in the arts and was cast in her first major role at the age of 16.
