Ilian Metev

Iliyan Metev was born in Sofia in 1981. He grew up in Germany, where he played the violin. He studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins in London and Documentary Directing at the UK National Film and Television School. His films have been screened at prestigious festivals worldwide, and he has received more than twenty awards, including from the BBC and the international film festivals in Cannes, Karlovy Vary and Leipzig.
