Voodgate Derek

Derek Woodgate was born in Royal Tunbridge Wells, Kent UK and was best known as the leader of the rock band, Luther Morgan Relationship, but moved to Yugoslavia for graduate studies in Zagreb, Croatia. He spent most of the next two decades in Croatia and in addition to heading up the rock band Camouflage, he had i a number of small parts in TV series and films, such as Sutjeska and Veliki Transport as well as landing the role in Velo Misto, for which he is best known. In addition to acting, Woodgate worked for Zagreb Film and Jadran film on voice-overs and translations. for some 15 years. He translated numerous feature and promotional films including Veliki Transport. He provided a number of voice-overs for TV series extended from well-known Croatian Films, including a number directed by Yugoslavia's best-known director at the time Veljko Bulajic.
