Matt Boyd

Matt Boyd was born in Virginia and grew up in Germany and Tennessee. He has worked extensively as a director, cinematographer and editor in the NY independent documentary and music scenes. His work has been seen worldwide in festivals, art spaces, television and the web. His directorial works include artists and companies such as Spiritualized, The Flaming Lips, The National, Lambchop, Spoon, Dolly Parton, Grizzly Bear, Converse, Heineken, and IFC. Recent works include the Factory 25 release "All The Way From Michigan Not Mars", "Building A Broken Mousetrap" with Jem Cohen, and as editor on David Byrne's recent SXSW selection "Ride Rise Roar".
