The Smith Connection

Three brothers from St. Louis, MO. Louis Smith, Danny DeCasual Smith, Michael Lovesmith. They were originally called, "THE SMITH BROS." on the Isley Bros. "T-Neck" label. They released 2 singles, "Little Girl" & "Check Me Out" After Michael Joined the elite MOTOWN producer/writer staff, Jermaine & Michael Jackson encouraged Michael to sign to MOTOWN as an solo artist. Jermaine Jackson, Hazel Gordy & Michael Lovesmith decided to sign the original group and called them, "LOVESMITH". Michael Lovesmith later became a solo artist in 1983 and released 3 albums on MOTOWN
