Laura Howell

Laura Howell is a British-born comic strip artist who became the first female artist to work on The Beano. Initially, Howell began her career in publishing but, shortly before turning 30 years old, she decided she had achieved as much as she was going to and decided to pursue her dream of becoming a professional cartoonist, enrolling on a course aimed at wannabe comic book artists.
