Victoria Thomas is an award winning filmmaker and BAFTA nominated producer working across fiction, documentary and audience design for film distribution.
Most recently, she co-produced Between Rings, a feature documentary which charts the rise of 7 time world welterweight champion, Esther Phiri, which premiered at CPH:Dox in 2014 and was broadcast on YLE Finland and Afridocs on DSTV funded by the Finnish Film Foundation.
She holds a BSc. International Business from United States International University, a law degree from University of Birmingham, an MA in Business Law from the University of Portsmouth and a Master of Fine Art (MFA) in Advanced Film Practice from Screen Academy Scotland. She is an alumni of the National film & Television School's Creative Business For Executives and Entrepreneurs.
Since 2012, she has served on the jury for the Nollywood Movie Awards and previously on the short film jury for Africa in Motion and the Interactive Jury at Sunnyside of The Doc.
