Julie Estelle has two older sisters, her older sister Cathy Sharon is also an actress, Julie was born to a French father and Indonesian mother, she gained more fame after starring at Gareth Evans' The Raid movies, through that movies she attended international film festival such as Sundace Film Festival along with her co-star Iko Uwais. During The Raid movie, Julie was trained to do martial arts in order to support her character Hammer Girl, she later portrayed the character again in The Raid 2. Julie Estelle already collaborated with actor Iko Uwais for 3 times, The Raid, The Raid 2, and Headshot (2016) that also starring other talented Indonesian actress such as Chelsea Islan.
