Sofia Exarchou

Greek film director and screenwriter. In 2014, she participated in the Sundance Screenwriters & Directors' Lab. PARK, her first feature, premiered at Toronto IFF and was selected at San Sebastián IFF, where it won the New Directors' Award. Since then, it has participated and won awards in numerous international film festivals (Rotterdam, BFI etc). She has also written and directed two short films. She studied electrical engineering at the Athens Polytechnic, film direction at the Stavrakos Film School, and theatre at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York. She graduated in film and audiovisual studies from ESAV in Toulouse (France).
