Nicola Morris

After working as a Features writer for National Newspapers and magazines, Nicola wrote her first short film, Out of Milk, which screened at 25 festivals worldwide, won two audience awards and three best short film nominations. It was bought for broadcast by Shorts International. Her second short film was awarded a UK Film Council Completion Fund. The UK Film Council also selected as one of their best short films 2010 to take to Clermont Ferrand and Cannes Film Festival. Also screened at Encounters. Nominated for Best Short film at Montreal and London Short Film Festival. Bought for broadcast by Shorts International. Female directors to watch list Letterboxd. Nicola was selected for the BFI London Film Festival's Feature Talent scheme. She is currently writing a sitcom, a feature script and a novel.
