Monica McCarthy

Monica McCarthy took an 8-year hiatus from acting following her Broadway debut, during which time she traveled to over 50 countries on six continents, created and hosted a philosophy podcast, was a freelance travel writer, and facilitated hundreds of workshops and talks on the emotional intelligence for businesses via The School of Life and Philosophy At Work. In 2018 she began studying acting with Tony Greco and in in 2019 she began her studies in Creative Writing and Literature (M.A.) at Harvard University. Her first one-act play was selected for a performance at the Inge Festival. During quarantine in fall of 2020 Monica co-created and starred in a short film shot entirely on an iPhone with an all female crew in Western Michigan.
