Tiwana Floyd

Biography

Tiwana Floyd is an original around the way girl, born and raised in The Bronx, New York. An enthusiast of Hip-Hop culture, she began her entertainment career as a B-girl, at the height of the New Jack Swing era, dancing in choreographed music videos and tours for notable Hip-Hop legends LL Cool J, Rob Base, DMX and on MTV's The Grind. Later, she set out to become a forensic psychologist with plans to attend CUNY's John Jay College of Criminal Justice. After watching Harry Connick Jr's terrifying portrayal of a serial killer in the Ann Biderman film Copycat, she immediately changed her sights towards acting. Now, she indulges her interest in criminology on-screen with roles on NCIS, American Crime, Scandal, and more to come. Tiwana is an alumnus of UCLA's Theater/Film/Television Professional Program, a graduate of The Second City Training Center's Improv Conservatory and Directing Programs, and a 2019 recipient of the Second City Hollywood / NBC Universal Bob Curry Fellowship of comedy actors. When Tiwana's not acting, she devotes much of her time as a private consultant teaching the Business of Acting at Graham Shiels Studio. She's also served on the Peer Group Executive Committee at the Television Academy and sings first soprano in the world-renowned Agape International Choir.
