Jose David Acevedo

Award-winning producer/director/writer/actor whose films have been screened in some of the most popular film festivals around the world. Jose David Acevedo aka "Ace or JD" was born and raised on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico. Jose David is a US NAVY veteran with 12 years served and three combat tours to the middle east. After his career with the military, he moved to Los Angeles to follow his dream of becoming an actor and building his own production company. Jose David attended California State University, Northridge, and graduated with a B.A. in Cinema and Television Production with a minor in Psychology. His senior thesis documentary "Lily the Glitch" won many awards at the California State University film festival, including Best Documentary. His production company "Sin Nombre Films" is making pictures that promote the values of Acceptance, Second Chances, and Redemption. Jose David is always writing, creating, and producing new content for the web and international production companies. JD is currently attending Law School with his sight on becoming an entertainment attorney.
