Biography

A twenty-year veteran of the television industry, Maranz founded 441 Productions in 2002. For a decade prior, he was among sports television's most respected Producers, winning nine Emmy Awards, including several for Investigative Reporting. He has produced content content for HBO, MTV, ABC, NBC, CBS and other networks, worked in news, sports and entertainment and helped create the World Series of Poker for ESPN. A magna cum laude graduate of Clark University, Maranz also has a Master's Degree in Journalism from Columbia University. Prior to working in television, Maranz was a print journalist and has written articles for The New Yorker and The New Republic.
