Benny Mora

Benjamin Joseph Mora Hopkins aka Benny Blanquito aka Tha Kid was born and raised in New York City, specifically the Boogie Down Bronx. He's half Hispanic, half W.A.S.P, full Papi. He started his career in Los Angeles working on "Californication" and "House of Lies", and soon after booked co- and TOS guest star roles on various TV shows such as "Chicago Med", "Aquarius" and "Chicago PD". He has also produced and starred in multiple acclaimed short films, along with a comedy pilot called "Dope Boys". He was featured in Annapurna Interactive's acclaimed video game "Telling Lies" with Logan Marshall-Green & Kerry Bishé. He will be featured in the upcoming animated TV pilot FLOTUS as a recurring character. He trains at Lesly Kahn & Co. He trained in the theatre at the Beverly Hills Playhouse with Allen Barton and Howard Deutch for 6 years. His uncle and mentor is actor Jason Beghe. Instagram - @bennyblanquito
