Rich Perez was born on February 13, 1964 in North Hollywood, California. He was raised in Hollywood, California and went to Micheltorena Elementary, Monte Vista Elementary, Luther Burbank Middle School and graduated with top athletic honors from Franklin High School in Los Angeles. Perez got into acting at 17 doing a LAUSD still movie about Health issues. Perez then went into the first debut edition of Faces International where he was picked up for "Kid Coulter", "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers", "Alien Avengers" and most recently a revived career in acting with 2005 Las Vegas Production "Lucky You". Perez has been affiliated as sports broadcaster for the Harlem Globetrotters, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies, Denver Broncos, UNLV Rebels Baseball, The NBA Summer Long Beach Pro League 2003 & 2004, NFL Pro Bowl 2000 thru 2005, NFL Super Bowl in Houston 2004, Super Bowl in Jacksonville as Member of the Host committee and the Former Los Angeles Rams of the NFL. His sports Athleticism in Baseball as infielder landed him with the Houston Astros, San Francisco Giants and Chicago Cubs. Perez helped launch the NFL Houston Texans first website chat room during their inaugural season. Perez Sr. is also the father of a fallen United States Marine LCpl Richard A. Perez Jr. who passed away in February 2005 from Operation Iraqi Freedom. His son died of a accidental truck incident where he was pinned between two US trucks at age 19.
