Biography

Blake DeLong is a sixth generation Texan whose ancestors settled in the Piney Woods near the Sabine River in the mid 19th century. DeLong graduated from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas and went on to study history and play in rock bands while attending The University of Texas at Austin. He began appearing in new and experimental plays in the Austin theater scene in the early 2000's. In 2014, he was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award recognizing his work in the Off-Broadway smash "Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812". His other stage credits include roles at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, The Public Theater, and New York Theater Workshop, where he appeared alongside Daniel Craig in Othello.
